Back in 2002, a multifaith group of 200 leaders from all the major world religions met in Assissi, Italy, and issued a statement called "The Assissi Decalogue for Peace" in which they denounce condemn "every recourse to violence and war in the name of God or of religion," concluding,

"We commit ourselves to urging leaders of nations to make every effort to create and consolidate, on the national and international levels, a world of solidarity and peace based on justice."

Who knew!

This link is from Wahiduddin's Web, a blog related to the amazing teachings of the Sufi mystic Hazrat Inayat Khan, with an interesting introduction by Memphis columnist David Waters.

Thanks for pointing out that the real threat to Amerikkka comes from Christians. Its time we stop persecuting Islamic fundamentalists and go after the 90% of our countrymen who call themselves christians. If you get increased recognition and sales from this song does that make you war profiteers?
