“Burst Apart” single by Psychic Tuesday out NOW!!!

Psychic Tuesday is the solo music project of Paul Cordes Wilm (Nowhere SquaresFred & Daily).

He has just released a FREE downloadable single called “Burst Apart” from the forthcoming EP “Eternal Ice Cream” on End Up Records (Out on March 1st, 2011) … HERE is the music video to the song directed by Birmingham, AL photographer Jonathan Purvis.

Psychic Tuesday explained =

The moniker comes from his blog (of the same name), which Paul Cordes Wilm’s been faithfully updating (with mixtapes, videos and photography) each and every Tuesday for over 2 years now.

“Psychic Tuesday is sort of a musical toy chest for me to collect all the songs and sound collages and stuff that I do in my bedroom when I’m not singing punk rock with the Squares or making up crazy electronic F&D stuff  …

It’s sort of a “place” for me to escape to and hide … Sometimes I can be talkative and social and hang out with people, but then other times I find myself wanting to be like a rabbit in his underground burrow, making stuff in secret until I’m ready to burst back out again and surprise others (& myself) with it … kind of like how I work on my blog every week … and my paintings … I guess I like springing things on people! haha”

Andrew Vladeck to Tour Europe

AV European PosterEurope, y’all. How bout that? My record, THE WHEEL, was picked up in Europe where it’s been getting a lot of love, and now they’re bringing me over to play shows from Rome to Amsterdam. Hereby announcing my very first Tour de l’Europe.

If you have friends in any of the below cities, please tell them!  If you could send them to my website, and post/share the Facebook listing, that’d be RAD!

Kind friend, with THE WHEEL set to roll across Europe, this summer is the perfect time to get your own copy! (You can also find me on Pandora and Jango!)

Top not-secret! I’ve been recording a new record with new songs and a new ensemble – I’m so excited about it I can hardly stand it. It feels like I’m bringing it all back home – that is, it feels right. Ya know?  The new EP will be released during CMJ in October in NYC.

Stay cool,

(Note: New York Farewell Shows: 8/13 Museum of American Folk Art; 8/31 Rockwood Music Hall)
